“A lot of people” isn’t applicable in this case since it involves targeting groups, most based on ethnicity, SES, and lifestyle choices. Agree it wasn’t meant to win the WH for Trump — you can actually see some of the pivoting in the primaries in the known data. The influence campaign was a powerful Hillary repellent and certainly a factor in institutional and voter apathy in targeted communities, though.
